During the last week of July, Lenovo officially revealed the display specifications of its upcoming Legion Y700 Infinite 5G tablet. Now, ahead of its launch in the Chinese market, the brand has confirmed some additional details concerning its design, camera, connectivity, and dimensions.

Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G – Additional Details Revealed
As per the latest promotional materials shared by Lenovo, the upcoming Legion Y700 Infinite 5G will feature a compact and lightweight design intended to make one-handed usage easier. The tablet will measure approximately 6.5mm in thickness and weigh around 298g.
It will feature equal-width ultra-narrow display bezels measuring approximately 2.89mm. A centre-aligned punch-hole cutout will house the front-facing camera, while a 50MP camera will be present at the rear.

The tablet has also been confirmed to support 5G connectivity and will be powered by Lenovo’s Tianxi AI platform. The latest promotional image shows the device in a Light Purple or Lavender colour option.
As far as its previously revealed specifications are concerned, the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G will feature an 8.4″ OLED esports display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, a pixel density of 359 PPI, and a Real RGB pixel arrangement.
The display will support a refresh rate of up to 165Hz and offer up to 4,000 nits of local peak brightness. It will further feature a 12-bit colour depth, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, Dolby Vision, and a colour accuracy value of Delta E < 1. Lenovo has also confirmed that every display panel will be individually calibrated at the factory.
For gaming, the screen will support a 3,400Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, a 360Hz native multi-finger touch sampling rate, a response time of 0.3ms, and an end-to-end touch latency of 39ms.
It will also come with AI Pixel Sniper, 10x super-resolution touch control, system-wide touch optimisation, and customisable touch-control settings.
Speaking about its eye-protection features, the display will use 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming at lower brightness levels and DC dimming at medium and higher brightness levels. Its harmful blue-light proportion is claimed to remain below 6.75%, while the tablet will support a minimum brightness level of 1 nit and an SVM value below 0.4.
Hardware-level low blue-light protection, flicker-free viewing, an e-book reading mode, and automatic brightness memory based on the user’s viewing habits will also be supported. Its AI-powered eye-care features will provide reminders concerning viewing posture, viewing distance, and focus duration.
The display has received TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 5.0, Hardware-level Low Blue Light, Flicker Free, and Touch Control certifications.
Under the hood, the upcoming Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform. It will be paired with LPDDR5T RAM supporting data-transfer speeds of up to 10,667Mbps and UFS 4.1 Pro internal storage.
Lenovo has not yet revealed the tablet’s complete specifications, memory configurations, battery capacity, charging capabilities, pricing, or sale date. More details could be officially confirmed as its Chinese launch approaches.
