Huawei Pura 80 series global launch set for 10th July

The Chinese manufacturer Huawei officially unveiled its latest Huawei Pura 80 series in its home country, China few days back. The series included- Huawei Pura 80, Huawei Pura 80 Pro, Huawei Pura 80 Pro+, and Huawei Pura 80 Ultra models.

The company has now announced that the Huawei Pura 80 series will be launched in Dubai on 10th July.

The teaser shows the Pura 80 Ultra model, while Pura 80 and Pura 80 Pro are also expected to tag along. There are still doubts over the global launch of the Pura 80 Pro+ model, as its predecessor, Huawei Pura 70 Pro+, was not launched outside China.

The brand is expected to tease some more details about this smartphone series in the coming days. For now, let’s take a look at the specs of Huawei Pura 80 Ultra, Pura 80 Pro, and Pura 80 (Chinese variants).

Huawei Pura 80 Ultra & Pura 80 Pro

Huawei Pura 80 Ultra and Pura 80 Pro models sport a 6.8-inch 8T LTPO display that offers 1.5K screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz PWM Dimming, and 3000 nits peak brightness. They are powered by Kirin 9020 SoC and run on HarmonyOS 5.1. The devices are backed by a 5700 mAh battery and support 100W fast charging and 80W wireless charging.

Huawei Pura 80 Pro packs a 50MP main camera, a 40MP ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP periscope telephoto camera on the rear side, while on the front it features a 13MP selfie camera. Huawei Pura 80 Ultra packs a 50MP main camera, a 40MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP switchable periscope telephoto camera on the rear side, while on the front it also includes a 13MP selfie camera.

Other features include an IP69 rating, an IR Blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 1.5MP Red Maple multispectral sensor, and satellite communication support.

Huawei Pura 80

Huawei has also unveiled the base Huawei Pura 80 model that will be available on 2nd July. It features a 6.6-inch 8T LTPO display that offers 1.5K screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, and 1440Hz PWM Dimming. It is powered by the Kirin 9020 processor and runs on HarmonyOS 5.1. It is backed by a 5600 mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It packs up a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP periscope telephoto camera, while on the front it features a 13MP selfie camera. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IP69 rating, and an IR blaster.
