Huawei Pura 80 series, Huawei Watch 5 and few more products officially unveiled in China
The Chinese manufacturer Huawei has today officially unveiled its latest Huawei Pura 80 series in its home country, China, and along with this smartphone series, the brand has also introduced Huawei Watch 5, Huawei FreeBuds 6, and Huawei MatePad Pro new color option in the country.
Huawei Pura 80 series: Features
Huawei Pura 80 Ultra, Pura 80 Pro, and Pura 80 Pro+ models sport a 6.8-inch 8T LTPO display that offers 1.5K screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz PWM Dimming, and 3000 nits peak brightness. They are powered by Kirin 9020 SoC and run on HarmonyOS 5.1. The devices are backed by a 5700 mAh battery and support 100W fast charging and 80W wireless charging.
Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Pro+ devices pack a 50MP main camera, a 40MP ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP periscope telephoto camera on the rear side, while on the front they arrive with a 13MP selfie camera. Huawei Pura 80 Ultra packs a 50MP main camera, a 40MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP switchable periscope telephoto camera on the rear side, while on the front it also includes a 13MP selfie camera.
Other features include (Huawei Pura 80 Pro, Pura 80 Pro+, and Pura 80 Ultra)- an IP69 rating, an IR Blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 1.5MP Red Maple multispectral sensor, and satellite communication support.

Huawei has also unveiled the base Huawei Pura 80 model that will be available on 2nd July. It features a 6.6-inch 8T LTPO display that offers 1.5K screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, and 1440Hz PWM Dimming. It is powered by the Kirin 9020 processor and runs on HarmonyOS 5.1. It is backed by a 5600 mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It packs up a 50MP main camera, 13MP ultra-wide camera, and 12MP periscope telephoto camera, while on the front it features a 13MP selfie camera.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IP69 rating, and an IR blaster. The pricing details have not yet been revealed.
Huawei Watch 5
Features
The smartwatch features spherical sapphire glass and is built with titanium alloy and stainless steel. It features a Smart Assistant that provides you with health Q&A, sports control, and other life assistant features. It arrives with gesture control to control the alarm clock, remote photo taking, and supports smart car control. It includes industry’s first X-TAP smart window, one-touch unlock, new health detection, fingertip real-time blood test, and more.
With eSIM support, users can enjoy independent calls, navigation, and online music. There are two variants- 42mm and 46mm. The 42mm variant offers 3 days of battery life in normal use, and the 46mm variant offers 4.5 days of battery life in normal use.
