During the CES 2026 event, Dell unveiled its new Alienware lineup that included Alienware 16X Aurora, Alienware 16 Area-51 with an OLED display and Alienware 18 Area-51 gaming laptops. And now this lineup has been officially launched in the Indian market.
Dell’s new Alienware lineup: Features
Alienware 16X Aurora
The laptop is powered by Intel Core Ultra 7/9 processors and supports up to NVIDIA GeForce 5070 Ti Laptop GPU. It offers up to 64GB DDR5 memory and up to a 4TB PCIe NVMe M.2 Gen4 SSD. The laptop sports a 16-inch WQXGA OLED display that offers a 240Hz refresh rate, 0.2ms response time, 620 nits HDR peak luminance and comes with True Black 500 certification. It features an anti-glare OLED panel.
For cooling, it comes with Alienware Cryo-Tech cooling with a bottom Cryo-Chamber. It includes a Stealth Mode, which can be activated via the F7 key to reduce fan noise and switch the keyboard backlight to white.
Connectivity options include: USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, USB-C with Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 Ethernet, headset jack, WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. It is backed by a 96Wh 6-cell Lithium-ion battery and comes with an 180W/280W power adapter.
Alienware 16 Area-51 and Alienware 18 Area-51
Both laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra 290HX Plus processors and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU. They offer up to 64GB DDR5 memory and up to 4TB SSD storage. They come with Cryo-Chamber cooling design, four-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support, 2MP FHD IR/ 8MP UHD HDR IR camera, Per-key AlienFX RGB keyboard, dual-array microphone, 96Wh Lithium-ion battery and 360W GaN FET power adapter.
Connectivity options include: WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, Thunderbolt 5, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1, RJ-45 Ethernet, headset jack, and SD card slot.
The Alienware 16 Area-51 features a 16-inch WQXGA LCD/OLED display that offers up to a 240Hz refresh rate and up to 0.2ms response time. It supports up to 240W Total Performance Power (TPP). The Alienware 18 Area-51 features an 18-inch WQXGA display that offers a 300Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. It supports up to 280W TPP.

The laptops are available through Dell.com, Dell Exclusive Stores, retail outlets and leading e-commerce platforms.
The Alienware 16X Aurora arrives at a starting price of Rs 2,62,990, Alienware 16 Area-51 starts at Rs 3,97,960 and Alienware 18 Area-51 starts at Rs 3,95,200.
