Following the launch of its Redmi Book 2026 laptops in 14″ and 16″ display sizes, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has now introduced the 2027 models in its home market of China. The newly-launched Redmi Book 14 2027 and Redmi Book 16 2027 come with Intel Core Series 3 processors, 72Wh batteries, and Super XiaoAI 2.0 support.

Redmi Book 14 2027 and Redmi Book 16 2027 – Specs and Features
The Redmi Book 14 2027 features a 14″ display with a 2.8K resolution and 500 nits brightness, while the larger Redmi Book 16 2027 sports a 16″ display with a 2.5K resolution and 400 nits brightness. Both models support up to a 120Hz refresh rate and DC dimming across all brightness levels.
Speaking more, these laptops come powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors built on the Intel 18A process, featuring six cores and six threads. Customers can choose between Core 5 320 and Core 7 350 processor options, paired with LPDDR5X RAM operating at 7,467MT/s.
The brand has also included a dual-fan cooling system with a three-dimensional airflow design and a 10mm heat pipe. Sustained power output of 30W is advertised for the laptops.
Looking into their battery specifications, both models pack a 72Wh battery with an energy density of 800Wh/L and come with a 68W power adapter. The battery is claimed to retain at least 80% of its capacity after 800 charge cycles.
Both laptops feature metal bodies. The Redmi Book 14 2027 weighs approximately 1.28kg onwards and measures around 13.95mm in thickness, whereas the Redmi Book 16 2027 starts at approximately 1.56kg and measures around 14.35mm thick.
Connectivity ports include two full-function USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI 2.1 TMDS port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Coming to their smart features, Super XiaoAI 2.0 brings support for AI office content generation, scheduled tasks, one-click PowerPoint creation, and AI programming. Users can also remotely switch the laptops on or off through compatible Xiaomi smartphones and tablets, and view device status through the Mi Home app.
Other ecosystem features include a cross-device desktop, integrated device centre, remote control, and file transfers between devices.
Redmi Book 2027 – Pricing and Availability
The Redmi Book 14 2027 comes in four colour options, translated as Nebula Purple, Sea Breeze Blue, Moonlight Silver, and Space Grey. The Redmi Book 16 2027 is offered in Moonlight Silver and Space Grey colours.
