The wait is almost over, and tomorrow the South Korean tech giant Samsung will finally introduce its next-generation Galaxy foldable devices at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
Just a day before this event, Samsung has officially unveiled its first-ever credit card called the Samsung Galaxy Card.
What is the Samsung Galaxy Card?
With this Galaxy Card, you can earn cash rewards on everyday purchases, with increased cash rewards for purchases made from Samsung, including the latest devices. This card offers a new financing option to consumers.
Samsung Galaxy Card is issued by Barclays US Consumer Bank on the Visa network. Starting tomorrow (22nd July), applications can be submitted online, including while shopping at any Samsung retail store in the US, to earn an additional $200 in bonus cash rewards after spending $2000 in the first 90 days of account opening.
It is available as a virtual and premium, metal physical card with a black Samsung logo. Users earn a host of cash rewards and other benefits:
- 5% cash rewards on eligible purchases made directly with Samsung
- 3% cash rewards on purchases made with Samsung Wallet
- 2% cash rewards on streaming services, like Netflix, Disney+, and Spotify
- 1% cash rewards on all other purchases
- 20% off Samsung VIP Advantage, plus earn 5% cash rewards when purchasing or renewing a Samsung VIP Advantage membership

Samsung Galaxy Card is integrated with Samsung Wallet, so users can store it alongside other compatible cards, IDs, passes, digital keys and more.
When to apply for the Samsung Galaxy Card?
Eligible early access customers can apply online for this card from today itself, while general public applications begin tomorrow.
