Xiaomi SkyNomad (Pengcheng) series confirmed to come equipped with Xiaomi Kunlun range extender

Xiaomi Auto Technology launch conference will be held on 30^th July, and at this particular event, the company will introduce Xiaomi SkyNomad (known as Pengcheng in China) N90 Max and N70 Max SUVs.

Yesterday, the company revealed some design details of the upcoming Xiaomi SkyNomad (Pengcheng) series, and today Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has shared some new details about this upcoming auto series.

Xiaomi SkyNomad (Pengcheng) Series: New details revealed

The series is equipped with the Xiaomi Kunlun range extender, resulting in very low usage and maintenance costs. All models are compatible with all types of gasoline, including 92, 95 and 98 octane gasoline.

The range extender and the three-electric system are covered by an 8-year or 160,000-kilometre warranty. The WLTC fuel consumption when the battery is depleted is as low as 5.7L/100km. Also, after the first maintenance, maintenance is required every 3 years or every 30,000 kilometres for the range extender.

The Xiaomi SkyNomad (Pengcheng) N90 Max is a large 7-seater flagship extended-range SUV, and the Xiaomi SkyNomad (Pengcheng) N70 Max is a large 5-seater four-wheel-drive extended-range SUV. The SkyNomad N90 Max will be arriving in a Distant Mountain Green colour option. These SUVs will be making their debut on the Chinese mainland on 30^th July.
