According to RushLane , RDE is a part of BS6 Phase 11 emission norms that will come into effect from April 01 , 2023 . According to these norms-
- All vehicles will need to be fitted with specialized equipment that can monitor emissions in real-world conditions.
- All vehicles will be required to undergo testing based on Modified Indian Test Cycle standards.
