Tata Harrier EV launched officially in India; Check out the features and pricing details

Tata Motors has today officially introduced its new flagship electric car- Harrier EV, in the Indian market. This model arrives with features like boost mode, all-wheel drive layout, lifetime battery warranty, and more.

Tata Harrier EV: Pricing

Harrier EV arrives at a starting price of Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). There are four color options- Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pure grey, and Pristine white. The bookings will start from 2nd July. It is revealed that soon there will be a Stealth Edition with all Black theme also.

Tata Harrier EV: Features

This EV is built on the Acti.ev+ platform and borrows its design language from the Harrier ICE. Harrier EV features a closed grille along with a unique bumper design and new alloy wheels. There is an EV badging on the front doors, while the rear end sees Harrier EV branding on the tailgate. It comes with a 2,741mm wheelbase. The fascia looks modern and styled with sharp styling bits. It also features connected LED DRLs, and the bumper has been updated.

On the inside, it features a 14.53-inch QLED infotainment screen from Samsung with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. There is a 10.2-inch instrument cluster with full-screen Maps support, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charger, ventilated seats, rear AC vents, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, electric Boss mode, rear sun shades, Digital key, JBL Black premium audio, four-spoke steering wheel, smart IRVM, 502L boot space, and more.

For safety, it includes comprehensive Level-2 ADAS features, 6 airbags, ESP, and ABS are standard, 360-degree cameras, blindspot monitoring, and Summon mode that unlocks automatic driverless parking. There is also a new DrivePay feature.

Now, coming to the performance, the Harrier EV comes with 65kWh and 75kWh battery packs. The battery packs promise a range of up to 627 km on a single charge and a 505 km C75 range. The RWD variant offers 238PS of peak power, and the dual-motor config offers up to 396 PS and 504 Nm of peak torque, accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 6.3 seconds. In 15 minutes, Tata claims up to 250km range. It gets RWD and QWD, with dual motor QWD variants. Tata offers upgraded Terrain Modes- Normal, Sand, Mud Ruts, Snow/grass, Rock Crawl, and Custom. There is also a transparent mode that helps in off-roading.

When it comes to charging, a 7.2kW AC charger can replenish the Harrier EV from 10-100% in 10.7 hours, while a 120kW DC fast charger, replenish the SUV from 20-80% in 25 minutes.
