As announced earlier, Kia finally unveiled its new-gen Seltos SUV yesterday in the Indian market.

Exterior design
The SUV has a 2690mm wheelbase, 4460mm length, 1830mm width, and 1635mm height. It gets a completely new face with Kia’s tiger-nose grille and a new bumper. There are pop-out door handles, a new 18-inch alloy wheel design, connected vertical tail lamps, squarish headlamps, a relocated number plate to the bumper, and a cleaner tailgate design. Colour options include- Frost Blue, Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Morning Haze, Pewter Olive, and Ivory Silver Gloss.
Interior design & Safety features
Inside the cabin, there is a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and a 5.0-inch HVAC display. There is an all-new three-spoke steering wheel with new drive and traction mode buttons. A panoramic sunroof, 447 litres boot capacity, dual-zone climate control, Bose sound system, 64 colour cabin surround ambient lighting, reclining second row, full-LED light package, soft-touch leatherette on the dashboard, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are some other highlights.
Safety features include a 360-degree camera, all-wheel disc brakes, an advanced K3 platform, 6 airbags, rear side parking sensor, guided rear view camera, Level-2 ADAS, hill-start assist, and tyre pressure monitoring system are some other highlights.
Engine options
There are three engine options:
- 5 NA petrol- 115hp power, 144Nm torque, 6MT/CVT gearbox
- 5 turbo petrol- 160hp power, 253Nm torque, 6Imt/7DCT gearbox
- 5 diesel- 116hp power, 250Nm torque, 6MT/6AT gearbox
New-gen Kia Seltos SUV: Availability
It is available in four trim levels- HTE, HTK, HTX, GT-line, and X-line. The price will be announced on 2nd January, and the deliveries are expected to begin around mid-January. The pre-bookings for this new-generation SUV have already started in India.
