Hyundai Exter is the upcoming micro SUV that is built for the Indian markets. The SUV is expected to launch in August in India and then later might be exported to other countries. But this is confirmed that the SUV will soon be seen in the Indian market. Hyundai Exter is expected to arrive with two petrol powertrains.

MotorOctane revealed on Twitter that this upcoming Hyundai SUV will get a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine.

Though Exter would be missing out diesel engine option the turbo petrol engine will give the vehicle an advantage over Tata Punch which lacks the turbo-petrol option. Apart from the turbo petrol engine, Exter will also get the entry-level engine option.

As per a recent report by Autocar India, it was revealed that the SUV will include a flattish bonnet, tailgate, split headlamp set-up with LED daytime running lamps at the top, and a squarish Venue-like headlamp below it. Also, Hyundai India is expected to give its upcoming SUV slightly higher ground clearance than Grand i10 Nios.

Since the SUV is expected to make its debut in the month of August, Hyundai SUV fans still need to be patient to witness this car in the Indian markets .
