The new model is now available with a new 1.0-litre “Boosterjet’ direct-injection turbo-petrol engine that develops 110hp and 170Nm. Though the automaker has retained the previous version’s 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that develops 103hp and 139Nm, with the option of pairing it with a CNG kit. The CNG versions now feature an underbody-mounted kit.  The company has removed the spare tyre, and there is only a puncture repair kit.

All powertrains are paired with a new 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, while only the 1.5-litre petrol engine offers a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Exterior

Coming to the exterior, the company has introduced minor changes to the exterior in this new version: the revised fascia gets a newly designed grille with a panel connecting the headlamps finished in dark chrome, a slightly redesigned bumper with dark chrome elements and a new look for the faux skid plate; the fog lamps have been positioned slightly upwards and sit in a new triangular housing. The lower sides of the doors feature new dual-tone cladding, and the 16-inch alloy wheels have a fresh design.

Features that are carried over from the old version include L-shaped daytime running lamps, the same tail lamps and bumper design on the rear side.

Interior

The cabin of the 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza features the same black-and-brown theme as in the old version. Though there are new trim materials, dual-tone leatherette-finished seats have updated upholstery, and a new set of HVAC switches.

The older version features a 9-inch infotainment system, while the new version features a 10.1-inch Smartplay Pro X infotainment system with built-in navigation and Alexa. New additions include: 64-colour ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, and active cooling for the wireless phone charger.

Safety

The upgraded model now gets a tyre-pressure monitoring system, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit warning and parking sensors at the front. It continues to hold a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating.

The new Brezza is offered in four broad variants named LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI Plus. It is available in two new exterior colours: Vivacious Orange and Lustrous Beige. While the previous Splendid Silver, Sizzling Red, Pearl Arctic White, Magma Grey and Bluish Black are also available.

It is launched at an introductory starting price of Rs 7,39,900 (ex-showroom). The introductory pricing is available for a limited period, with the company expected to announce the variant-wise prices soon.
