Boost your network performance with Airtel 5G, check activation procedure here

India finally saw the launch of 5G services during the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 5G services for all the major telecom providers who would provide it. This included Airtel, Jio, and Vi among others.

However, only Airtel has initiated the availability of its 5G services. Providers like Jio and Vi will start their services at a later date. Airtel currently has 5G services in a few cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi, Bangalore, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

Notably, Airtel has asserted that their 4G sims will be compatible with the 5G network Airtel users can activate 5G in the following manner.

After 5G reaches your region, you can activate it on your android phone by Choosing Settings and then selecting Mobile Network.

After that, you have to select the particular Airtel Sim that you want to enable 5G in. After that choose the preferred network type option and finally select the 5G network.

On your iPhone, you can activate 5G service in the following manner. First, go to the settings app on your device and then select the “Cellular” settings menu. After that select, “Cellular Data Options” and under it go for ‘Voice and Data’ settings. Finally, select either from 5G Auto or 5G ON option. Following it, you will notice a 5G symbol on the status bar in the next couple of minutes.
