Vivo X Fold 6 (V2559) Global Launch Hinted as Device Appears on Indonesian SDPPI and Europe’s EEC Certifications; Still Not Listed on BIS
A tipster had earlier revealed that Vivo might launch its recently released X Fold 6 foldable smartphone in the Indian market around October of this year, and its global launch has been rumoured as well. Now, confirming the same, its global variant has appeared on the Indonesian SDPPI and Europe’s EEC certification databases.
Here is what has been revealed.
Vivo X Fold 6 Global Variant – Spotted on SDPPI and EEC
First off is the Indonesian SDPPI certification database, which has listed the model number “V2559” with the certification number “123903/DJID/2026”. The listing shows that the device was approved on the 9th of July 2026, that is today itself. Moreover, from this listing, it is confirmed that the above-mentioned model number belongs to the global variant of the Vivo X Fold 6.
Furthermore, the EEC certification database has also listed the same model number on its website. The listing carries the notification number “KZ0000013308” and shows that it was registered on the 3rd of April 2026. However, the moniker has not been mentioned on the EEC listing.
To note, the Vivo X Fold 6 India launch was also recently tipped by tipster Sanju Choudhary, who claimed that the device will most probably launch in India around October itself with a price range above INR 1.5 Lakhs. The specs shared by the tipster in that post also match the ones already available for the Chinese variant, hinting that the Indian variant will also feature the same spec sheet.
Currently, however, the model number has not appeared on the Indian BIS certification database yet. So, if his leak turns out to be true, we may soon be able to spot the device on the BIS database as well.
Since the global variant of the Vivo X Fold 6 has now started appearing on certification platforms, more details regarding its global and India launch may be revealed in the coming days.
