Vivo X Fold 6 – India Launch Tipped
As per the details shared online by tipster Sanju Choudhary, Vivo is probably planning to launch its recently unveiled X Fold 6 foldable smartphone in the Indian market. If his tip is to be believed, Vivo is currently aiming for an October 2026 release in the country.
Speaking more about the possible pricing, with how smartphone prices are currently increasing, even in the budget segment, it would be interesting to see how Vivo prices the X Fold 6 in India by the time it arrives in October. It also remains to be seen which memory variant the brand will bring to the Indian market.
To note, the Vivo X Fold 5 was launched in India with a price tag of INR 1,49,999, and the tipster claims that the Vivo X Fold 6 may launch in the country with a price range above INR 1.5 lakh. However, he has not mentioned which memory variant he is referring to.
As stated above, since the launch is tipped for October, there are still around two to three months left for the expected India debut. Hopefully, in the coming days, the device will also make its appearance on the Indian BIS certification database, further confirming its India launch plans.
Specs-wise, the datasheet shared by the tipster matches the one already available for the Chinese variant which means that the Indian variant will also come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, and it may pack a 7000mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging support.
