An upcoming POCO smartphone carrying the model number ‘2609CPC5FG’ had recently appeared on multiple global certification databases, however, its moniker was not known. Additionally, two upcoming Redmi tablets were also spotted on certification databases, and one of them was revealed to be the Redmi Pad 3 Wi-Fi variant. Now, via Thailand’s NBTC database, the POCO device’s moniker has been confirmed as POCO X8s, while the other Redmi tablet has been revealed to be the Redmi Pad 3 4G.

POCO X8s and Redmi Pad 3 4G – NBTC Certifications Secured
As per the newly-listed details, the POCO X8s smartphone carrying the model number ‘2609CPC5FG’ has received the NBTC certification with the certificate number ‘B38685-26’. It has been listed under the mobile phone category, and GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR network connectivity have been mentioned. To note, the NR reference confirms its 5G connectivity support.
POCO X8s – NBTC
Speaking more, the Redmi tablet with the model number ‘26104RPF2G’ has also received the NBTC certification, revealing its Redmi Pad 3 4G moniker. It has been listed under the portable tablet category with the certificate number ‘B38693-26’, and GSM, WCDMA, and LTE network connectivity are supported.
Looking into previous updates, the POCO X8s model number was earlier spotted on the Geekbench database, which pointed to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, Android 17 operating system, and 12GB RAM. Additionally, its appearance on the IMDA database had also revealed NFC support.
About the Redmi Pad 3 4G, its ‘26104RPF2G’ model number was previously listed on the EEC database alongside another Redmi tablet carrying the model number ‘2610FRP38G’. The latter was then revealed via the TDRA database to be the Redmi Pad 3 Wi-Fi variant, while the latest NBTC listing has now confirmed that the former belongs to the 4G variant.
The specifications and other features of the upcoming Redmi Pad 3 4G are still under wraps, and the device has not yet appeared on the Geekbench database. A possible listing could reveal its chipset and other key specifications, while more updates concerning its features and launch can also be expected from the brand.
