Following the launch of the Vivo X Fold 6 in China, reports suggested that the foldable smartphone would also make its debut in global markets. Its global variant later appeared on multiple regulatory databases, including the UAE’s TDRA, India’s BIS, Indonesia’s SDPPI and TKDN, and Europe’s EEC. Now, the device has been listed on the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL), revealing its battery capacity, endurance, durability, repairability, and software-support details.

Vivo X Fold 6 Global Variant – EPREL Listing
On the EPREL database, the foldable smartphone has appeared with the model number ‘V2559 ’ and has received a ‘B’ energy-efficiency rating. The listing further mentions an EU market-placement date of September 3rd, 2026, along with a commercial warranty period of 36 months.
Coming to its battery details, the global variant is listed with a rated capacity of 6,670mAh. During the testing, it was revealed that the device managed to give 58 hours and 57 minutes on a single charge of battery backup, while the battery is rated to retain its functionality for up to 1,000 charging cycles. Interestingly, the EPREL listing also mentions that its battery is user-replaceable.
In comparison, the Chinese variant features a dual-battery setup with a combined rated capacity of 7,030mAh (2946mAh+4054mAh) and is marketed with a typical capacity of 7,000mAh. Therefore, based on the battery specifications revealed through the EPREL database, the global variant could arrive with a slightly smaller battery than its Chinese counterpart.
For charging, the device requires a charger capable of delivering at least 10W of power and features a USB Type-C charging port. However, this figure does not represent the smartphone’s maximum supported charging speed.
On the durability side, it withstand immersion in water at a depth of up to 1.5 metres as the foldable smartphone carries an IP58 rating for dust and water resistance.
During the testing, the smartphone survived 140 falls without any defects during the repeated free-fall test. It also survived 35 falls without defects while in its fully extended state, earning a ‘B’ free-fall reliability rating. Its display has received a scratch-resistance rating of Level 4 on the Mohs hardness scale, while a protective cover will be included in the box.
Coming to its repairability, the Vivo V2559 has received a ‘C’ repairability rating and an overall repairability index of 2.87 and did score 2.50 points for disassembly depth, 3.00 points for the types of fasteners used, and 1.00 point for the tools required. The device received a score of 5 for spare-parts availability, 1 for the duration of software updates, and 5 for the availability of repair information.
This EPREL database listing also confirms that Vivo will provide operating-system, security, corrective, and functionality updates for at least five years.
While the EPREL listing does not mention the smartphone’s commercial moniker, the model number ‘V2559’ has previously been associated with the global variant of the Vivo X Fold 6 through multiple regulatory certifications.
