Recently, an alleged marketing poster of the upcoming Vivo V80 Lite 5G smartphone was spotted online via an Indian retailer, and while not much in terms of specifications was revealed through it, an earlier Google Play Supported Devices listing had suggested that the device could come as a rebranded version of the recently India-launched Vivo S2. Now, some additional details have also come to light, as another model of the upcoming smartphone has made its appearance on the Geekbench database.
Read more about the update below.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G (V2643) – Geekbench Listing
On the Geekbench 6 database, a Vivo smartphone carrying the model number V2643 has been listed with Android 16 (PD2575IF_EX_A_16.0.12.2.W20) operating system and around 7.28GB of RAM, suggesting that this could be its 8GB RAM variant.
Speaking more, the device has achieved 1,025 points in the single-core test and 2,871 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench 6.7.1.

Furthermore, the listing reveals a MediaTek chipset carrying the model number MT6878, with four CPU cores clocked at 2.00GHz and the remaining four cores running at up to 2.50GHz. From the source code it is revealed to have a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.
Looking at these chipset details, the processor appears to be Dimensity 7360 with four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.5GHz, four Cortex-A55 cores, and a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. Notably, the recently launched Vivo S2 is also powered by the Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, further adding to the possibility of the V2643 model being closely related to the Vivo S2.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G (V2626) – Different Chipset Tipped
However, another model number associated with the Vivo V80 Lite 5G, V2626, has also appeared on the Geekbench database with somewhat different details.
The V2626 model is found to be listed with Android 16 (PD2607F_EX_A_16.0.6.0.W30) and around 5.38GB of RAM, likely pointing towards a 6GB RAM variant and has reportedly scored 937 points in the single-core test and 2,654 points in the multi-core test, whereas the chipset is listed with the model number MT6858.
Its CPU configuration consists of four cores clocked at 2.00GHz and four cores clocked at up to 2.50GHz, while the GPU is listed as Mali-G610 MC2. Interestingly, these details match the specifications of MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300e, which officially comes with four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.5GHz, four Cortex-A55 cores at up to 2.0GHz, and the Mali-G610 MC2 GPU.

Speaking more, the V2626 model has already been associated with the Vivo V80 Lite 5G through Malaysia’s SIRIM certification, and it later appeared on Singapore’s IMDA database as well, revealing 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity support.
Interestingly, the earlier Google Play Supported Devices list had revealed the V2643 and V2644 model numbers with the V2576 device codename, and this same V2576 codename as well as model number belongs to the Vivo S2 smartphone. This had initially suggested that the Vivo V80 Lite 5G could arrive as a rebranded Vivo S2 in select markets.
However, with the latest Geekbench details, things now appear to be slightly more interesting. While the V2643 model features chipset details similar to the Dimensity 7360-Turbo-powered Vivo S2, the V2626 model appears to be equipped with a different processor, likely the Dimensity 7300e.
This suggests that Vivo could launch the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in different markets with different specifications, despite using the same marketing moniker. Whether the devices will only differ in terms of their chipsets or whether there will be other differences in their specifications and design as well cannot be said for sure at the moment.
As mentioned, Vivo is still yet to officially announce the Vivo V80 Lite 5G, although its alleged marketing poster, certification appearances, Google Play listing, and now Geekbench listings suggest that its launch could possibly be nearing.
