Vivo V50 spotted on Geekbench database with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and Android 15 OS

Vivo has recently teased to launch of the Vivo V50 smartphone soon in the Indian market while the poster for the upcoming device and its rear panel design has already surfaced online which revealed that the design closely resembles the Vivo S20 smartphone, though it is said that unlike Vivo S20, Vivo V50 will feature a quad-curved display instead of flat display.

Till now Vivo V50 has been spotted on multiple certification websites- SIRIM, IMDA, EEC, TDRA, NBTC, NCC, and BIS. Vivo V50 with model number V2427 has now made its appearance on the Geekbench database.

The device has received a 4122 Vulkan score. The database reveals that the device will be powered by an octa-core processor that includes 4 cores clocked at 1.80GHz, 3 cores clocked at 2.40GHz, and 1 core clocked at 2.63GHz. It hints towards the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. Other than this the device is revealed to arrive with an 8GB RAM option, Adreno 720 GPU, and Android 15 OS.

If you remember, previously Vivo has used this same Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC in Vivo V30 and Vivo V40 smartphones and now Vivo Vivo V50 will be the third V series device to arrive with this chipset.

The launch date of Vivo V50 is not yet officially announced, but as per rumors the debut could take place between 18th February and 22nd February.

Vivo V50: Expected specs

It is said to be the slimmest phone in the segment with a 6000 mAh battery. The device is said to be available in Deep Blue, Grey, Shimmery White, and a new Red Rose colour (inspired by Indian weddings).  It could pack up a dual rear camera setup with Zeiss branding, a 50MP selfie camera, and a round camera module with a ring LED flash. It is revealed to arrive with support for Bluetooth, WiFi 6, NFC, and GPS.
