Vivo officially teases the launch of Vivo V50 for the Indian market

Just yesterday, we shared the news about this upcoming smartphone, where its poster was revealed via an offline retailer. However, its official announcement was still missing. Now, Vivo has finally teased the launch of the Vivo V50 for the Indian market.

Vivo, through its official X account, posted a teaser image—without the smartphone itself—along with the caption: “The promise of forever is about to get picture perfect. vivo V50 coming soon to make weddings, pro.”

This is just the first official teaser, so no specifications or details have been revealed by the brand yet. However, more teasers are expected, as the device is rumoured to launch between the 18th and 23rd of February 2025 in the Indian market.

Just before we reported on the offline retailer’s poster, the rear panel of the device was also leaked by a tipster. The design closely resembles the Vivo S20, which was launched in China. However, unlike the Chinese S20, the Vivo V50 will feature a quad-curved display instead of a flat one.

As expected, the Pro variant was missing from today’s teaser, further confirming that only the Vivo V50 will be launched in India this time.
