Vivo yesterday confirmed that the Vivo V80 5G will launch in India on 6th October 2026. While the brand has not yet announced the Vivo S2 FE, a new tip now suggests that the smartphone could debut alongside the Vivo V80 5G in the country.

Vivo S2 FE India Launch and Specifications Tipped
According to an X user with the username @AHSANKHARBAI, the Vivo S2 FE will launch alongside the Vivo V80 5G, suggesting a possible 6th October debut. However, Vivo is yet to confirm the launch date for the Vivo S2 FE.
To note, the information comes from a relatively new tipster, and therefore, it would be wise to take the launch claim and the accompanying specifications with a pinch of salt until more concrete details emerge.
As per the tip, the Vivo S2 FE could feature a 6.83″ 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor; alongside this, it could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G processor, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
According to him, the rear will sport a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary camera alongside a 2MP secondary sensor. A 32MP camera is expected on the front for selfies and video calls.
On the battery side, the device could pack a 10,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast wired charging. IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance have also been tipped. Regarding the pricing, the Vivo S2 FE is said to be priced under INR 40,000 in India.
Speaking more, another source had previously shared alleged hands-on images of the device, with its About Phone section revealing the Vivo S2 FE moniker. The same leak listed the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz.
The previous source had tipped a slightly larger 6.84″ 1.5K display, along with an in-display fingerprint sensor, which differs slightly from the new tip.
The Vivo S2 FE is further expected to be offered in Black, White, and Green colour options.
