Tecno’s Spark 40 Pro Smartphone Certified by the FCC Authority Ahead of its Global Debut

Two weeks back, Tecno had officially teased the global debut of its next Spark 40 series and following this, one among the upcoming devices – Spark 40 Pro has received the FCC certification. Via the FCC listing, a few of its notable key specs have also been revealed.

Tecno Spark 40 Pro – FCC Certification

The Tecno Spark 40 Pro smartphone with the model number – ‘KM6’ has been certified by the FCC authority of the United States, and it has received the certification with the FCC ID – ‘2ADYY-KM6’. Tecno’s Spark 40 Pro device has been categorized as a ‘mobile phone’ on the certification database and it is revealed to measure 163.67 x 75.87 x 6.85 mm in dimension.

On the connectivity side, the upcoming device is pointed out to support 2G/3G/4G network, Bluetooth (BR + EDR + BLE), dual-band WiFi 5 (2.4G and 5G), NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and FM receiver. Moreover, an 8GB/256GB storage option will be made available for the device.

A schematic image of the Tecno Spark 40 Pro has also been listed on the FCC certification database, revealing its rear panel design. The upcoming device would be featuring a design similar to older Samsung Galaxy smartphones – featuring a flat rear panel, three individual vertically-placed circular units (for cameras) at the top-left corner, an LED flashlight at the right of the first circular unit, and volume rockers + power button on the right side panel.

As mentioned, Tecno has already teased its Spark 40 series launch and it is scheduled to take place in the month of July 2025. Notably, this series will be the first to debut a smartphone (Spark 40 Pro+) using the Helio G200 chip of MediaTek. Apart from the Spark 40 Pro and Spark 40 Pro+ models, the series will consist of the Spark 40 and Spark 40C smartphones too, and all these have received the European EEC certification.
