The South Korean tech giant Samsung recently unveiled its latest foldable devices, and these smartphones arrived with One UI 9 custom skin. It is now said that the company has started internal testing for the next version, One UI 9.5, on the upcoming Galaxy S27 series.
One UI 9.5 internal testing reportedly started on the Galaxy S27 series
As revealed by tipster @tarunvats33, he spotted placeholder hashes in the FOTA XML for the entire Galaxy S27 lineup: Galaxy S27 (SM-S952U), Galaxy S27+ (SM-S956U), Galaxy S27 Pro (SM-S957U) and Galaxy S27 Ultra (SM-S958U). However, the build version for One UI 9.5 was not decrypted.
If you recall, the first One UI 8.5 test build for the Galaxy S26 series was spotted in July 2025, and One UI 9.5 for the Galaxy S27 series appeared a bit later.
Samsung is yet to start the rollout of the One UI 9 stable version for its eligible Galaxy devices, but that is expected to happen after the new Galaxy foldables go on sale. It is advisable to wait for the official confirmation.
Coming to One UI 9.5, it is only known that Samsung has just begun internal testing, while what’s new in the upgrade is not known yet. But we may come across some details in the future.
