Now, adding one more piece to the puzzle, tipster Abhishek Yadav has come forward and shared the pre-reserve and launch details of the same.

According to the tipster, Samsung will likely announce the pre-reserve for its upcoming foldable smartphone trio – the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8 tomorrow, that is on the 8th of July 2026. Furthermore, pointing at the launch date, he claims that Samsung will launch the devices on the 22nd of July 2026, and the event will be taking place in London.
Samsung will open pre-reservations for the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8 and Galaxy Watch on July 8.

If this turns out to be true, then starting tomorrow, interested customers will be able to pre-reserve the upcoming foldable devices. However, the tipster has not revealed details regarding the terms and conditions of the pre-reserve pass, such as the amount required to pre-reserve the device or the regions in which it will be applicable.
Looking at his past leaks, it is most likely expected to be for the Indian market, but we never know whether Samsung may announce it for other markets as well. Speaking more about the expected specifications, a teaser recently posted by Samsung China on its Weibo account reveals that the next foldable smartphone may come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is said to be exclusively tuned by Qualcomm for Galaxy smartphones.
