As per the new details shared (rumored*), it is now suggested that Samsung’s next Galaxy Z Fold 8 smartphone could be offering a battery capacity in the 5000 mAh range and for a reduced display crease, the device will also be adopting a laser-drilled metal plate technology similar to what is being used on the Apple iPhone Fold. Furthermore, the S-Pen support is also believed to be brought back on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 smartphone from Samsung.
Tipster @UniverseIce who is known for sharing updates regarding Samsung flagships has also pointed out that the Apple iPhone Fold arrival could be putting Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 under pressure, and Samsung must work more on it or else the brand could lose its position in the foldable smartphones market. However, industry sources also claim that the launch of the Apple iPhone Fold is said to be delayed and from 2026, the launch time frame has been shifted to 2027. Considering this delay, Samsung may be able to retain its market dominance for a little longer.
