Here’s more about it.

Samsung Galaxy M47 5G and Galaxy F70 Pro 5G – BIS Certification Listing

On the Indian BIS Certification database (registration number R-85000280), two new devices have appeared on the database bearing the model numbers “SM-M476B/DS” and “SM-E476B/DS” respectively. The “DS” mentioned in the model numbers points to dual SIM connectivity support, while the listing also reveals that the date of grant or inclusion was given on the 15th of May 2026.

Even though the monikers are not listed on the BIS database, previous IMEI database listings had revealed that the “SM-M476B/DS” model number belongs to the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G smartphone, whereas the “SM-E476B/DS” model number is associated with the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G smartphone.

Looking into the previous Geekbench listing of the Galaxy M47 5G, the smartphone was revealed to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor paired with the Android 16 operating system running One UI 8 custom skin on top. The listing had also revealed an 8GB RAM variant of the device as well.

Additionally, both model numbers carry a similar numbering scheme with only the change from the letter “M” to “E”, which further suggests that the two devices could arrive as rebranded versions of each other.

With the two smartphones now making their appearance on the BIS certification database, more updates regarding their launch can be expected soon.
