Samsung’s Galaxy F70 5G smartphone may now be nearing its launch time frame, as the device has made its appearance on the Google Play Console Supported Devices List. Alongside it, the smartphone has also been spotted on the Indian BIS certification database, pointing towards its arrival in India. The shared device codename on the Google listing further suggests that it could be a re-branded version of the already launched Galaxy A17 5G.

Samsung’s Galaxy F70 5G – Spotted on the Google Play Console Supported Devices List and Indian BIS Database
As mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy F70 5G smartphone which carries the model number of ‘SM-E176E’ has been spotted on the Google Play Console Supported Devices List, and the device is listed with the codename of ‘a17x’. Notably, the Galaxy A17 5G also shares the same codename, suggesting that the upcoming Galaxy F70 5G could possibly be a re-branded version of this device. However, its specifications have not been revealed through this listing.

Additionally, the device has also made its appearance on the Indian BIS certification database with the model number of ‘SM-E176E/DS’. It is listed under the Samsung brand in the mobile phone category, with the registration number of ‘R-85000280’ and an inclusion date of the 29th of September 2026. This certification hints at its launch in the Indian market, although an official launch date is yet to be announced.

Speaking more about Samsung’s Galaxy F70 series, the brand had previously introduced the Galaxy F70e 5G smartphone, following which the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G was also launched. With this new discovery, the upcoming Galaxy F70 5G is expected to arrive as the third smartphone in the lineup.
