Earlier, we spotted an upcoming Redmi smartphone carrying the model number ‘2609FRA74G’ on Indonesia’s TKDN certification database. While the listing only confirmed it to be a 5G-supported handset, rumors had suggested that the model number could belong to the upcoming Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. Adding confirmation to the same, this model has now appeared on Thailand’s NBTC certification database, revealing its marketing name and connectivity details.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max – NBTC Certification
As per the details mentioned on the NBTC certification database, the model number ‘2609FRA74G’ belongs to the upcoming Redmi Note 17 Pro Max smartphone. The device has been listed with the certification number ‘B38483-26’ and shows GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR as its connectivity details.
While the NBTC certification does not reveal any other specifications of the device, the appearance of the global Redmi Note 17 Pro Max variant on the certification platform suggests that Xiaomi could be preparing to introduce it outside China in the coming months.
Furthermore, the device was also spotted on Taiwan’s NCC and Eurofins certification databases. These listings revealed 8GB/256GB, 8GB/512GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB memory configurations, along with support for storage expansion via a microSD card.
The certification details further revealed that the global model will pack a BM95 battery with a typical capacity of 9,210mAh, which could be marketed as a 10,000mAH battery and support up to 100W wired fast charging. Other revealed features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, NFC, USB Type-C connectivity, and an IP68-rated build.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is believed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 processor.
Moving on to its cameras, the upcoming smartphone is said to feature a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KHP5 primary rear camera, accompanied by an 8MP OmniVision OV08F10 ultra-wide-angle sensor. For selfies and video calls, a 32MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KKDS camera is expected to be given on the front.
