Redmi 17 4G Moniker Confirmed via SDPPI Certification; Redmi Note 17 Series Model Number and Alleged Moto Pad 70 Also Spotted

Three new model numbers of the upcoming smartphones have now appeared on the Indonesian SDPPI certification database, out of which two are from Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi, while the third one is from Motorola. With this, it seems that these devices could be launched soon in their respective markets.

Redmi 17 and Redmi Note 17 Series Devices – Spotted on SDPPI
First of all, coming to the Redmi device carrying the model number “2606FRN72Y”, its moniker has now been confirmed via the Indonesian SDPPI certification database as Redmi 17. The device has been listed with the certification number “123876/DJID/2026”, and it received approval on the 8th of July 2026.
Speaking more about this device, it is expected to arrive as a rebranded version of the POCO C95 Pro 4G handset. Therefore, it may come powered by the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset.

On the other hand, the model number “26012RN62Y” has also been found listed on the SDPPI certification database, but without the moniker and as per rumours, this smartphone is expected to launch as the Redmi Note 17 4G.
Notably, it was earlier confirmed via the TKDN certification database itself that this is a 4G handset. Just like today, both the above-mentioned Redmi devices had also appeared on the TKDN database before.
Moreover, the FCC certification of the alleged Redmi Note 17 4G had previously revealed several memory options for the device – 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB, 6GB/512GB, 8GB/256GB, and 8GB/512GB storage variants.
The FCC listing had also confirmed GSM, WCDMA, and 4G cellular connectivity, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth with BR/EDR/LE, and dual-band WiFi with 2.4GHz and 5GHz support. Additional model numbers expected to belong to this smartphone are “26012RN62A” and “26012RN62L”.
Alleged Moto Pad 70 – Spotted on SDPPI
Moving on to the Motorola device, the model number “XT2673-2” has been listed on the Indonesian SDPPI certification database with the certification number “123835/DJID/2026”. The listing confirms that the device was approved on the 7th of July 2026.
While the moniker has not been revealed on the SDPPI listing, we had previously covered this model number in a different report. Back then, we had discovered it listed on an online forum, where it was stated to belong to the Moto Pad 70.

Furthermore, it was also hinted that the alleged Moto Pad 70 may arrive as a rebranded Lenovo K12 Tablet. Speaking more about its previously revealed details, the UL Solutions database had mentioned that the device will support 45W fast charging.
In addition to this, several country codes such as AU, CA, CN, EU Group Differences, JP, NZ, SA, and US were also mentioned, hinting at its possible launch in Australia, Canada, China, Europe, Japan, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.
Since these Redmi and Motorola devices have now started appearing on certification databases, more updates regarding their official launch could be revealed soon.
