Realme 16T 5G Indian Retail Box Leak Reveals ₹55,999 MRP and Key Specifications
The Realme 16T 5G, along with the Realme Watch S5 and Realme Buds Air 8 Pro, is slated to break cover in India on the 22nd of May 2026 via Flipkart. Now, ahead of its launch, a tipster has shared an image of what appears to be the retail box unit of the upcoming smartphone, revealing its MRP and a few additional key details.

As per the details shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the retail box image reveals an MRP of “₹55,999” and also confirms the model number of the smartphone as “RMX5268”. However, this is just the MRP of the device, and in most cases, the actual selling price is lower than the mentioned amount. Hence, it would be better to wait for the official pricing details to be announced by the brand.
Additionally, another image shared by the tipster from the settings page of the smartphone reveals that the device bearing the “RMX5268” model number is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and packs an 8000mAh battery with typical capacity. The listing also reveals that the smartphone will run on the Realme UI 7 custom skin version “RMX5268_16.0.5.715”.
Regarding the revealed specifications, the settings page image further points to an 8GB RAM + 10GB virtual RAM and 128GB storage variant of the device. It also reveals a 17.3 cm (6.81-inch) display, a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera, along with a 16MP selfie shooter.
Furthermore, the tipster adds via his X post that the smartphone does not support 4K video recording and lacks support for 1080p video recording at 60fps.
As far as pricing is concerned, it would be interesting to see how Realme prices this upcoming smartphone in the Indian market, especially considering that its predecessor, “Realme 15T 5G” featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 MAX processor, was launched at a starting price of ₹27,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
