Vivo’s upcoming V80 FE smartphone was previously spotted on the Indonesian SDPPI database with the model number ‘V2624’, hinting at its launch in the Indonesian market. Now, this same model number has also appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, and its Indian launch has thus been hinted at as well.

Vivo V80 FE – BIS Certification Secured
As per the newly-shared details, the Vivo smartphone carrying the model number ‘V2624’ has now received the BIS certification, and its grant/inclusion date has been mentioned as the 16th of October 2026. To note, unlike the Indonesian SDPPI listing, which revealed its Vivo V80 FE moniker, only the model number has been listed on the BIS database.
Speaking more, while its previous certification has pointed to the Vivo V80 FE moniker, whether this upcoming device will hit the Indian market with the same branding remains to be confirmed, considering the brand’s recent smartphone launches. For now, it can be expected to arrive as the Vivo V80 FE.
Looking into other details, the specifications and features of this upcoming device are still under wraps. A possible appearance on the Geekbench database could reveal its chipset and other key specifications, and more updates concerning the upgrades it will offer over its predecessor, the Vivo V70 FE, can also be expected in the coming days.
