The Chinese manufacturer Oppo introduced its Oppo Find X9 series, Oppo Pad 5, and Oppo Watch S devices last month in its home country, China. For the Oppo Pad 5, the brand introduced a standard variant and a matte variant for the Oppo Pad 5 tablet.
It appears that the company will soon unveil the Oppo Pad 5 Matte Display edition in the global markets as well. Today, our team at The Tech Outlook has spotted Oppo Pad 5 Matte Display edition on Malaysia’s SIRIM certificate website with model number OPD2502 and type approval code REAO/67/1025/S(25-5855).
The database reveals the moniker of the tablet while also confirming its availability in the Malaysian market in the future. The device is also confirmed to arrive in Singapore due to its appearance on the IMDA certification website.
Oppo is expected to soon announce the global launch of the Oppo Pad 5 Matte Display Edition.
Oppo Pad 5: Features (Chinese variant)
The tablet sports a 12.1-inch LCD display that offers 3K screen resolution, up to 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, and up to 900 nits HBM brightness. The matte version uses nano-etching to cut ambient reflection by 97% and improve clarity by 22%. The display is also TUV Rheinland certified for eye protection.
It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. The device is equipped with 8MP front and rear camera sensors. It is backed by a 10420 mAh battery and supports 67W Super FlashCharge. It weighs 577g and comes with a 5.99mm thin body.
