iQOO 16 – India Testing and Possible Pricing Details Tipped
Previously, tipster Yogesh Brar had suggested that the iQOO 16 might not make its way to the Indian market due to rising smartphone component costs, but now he claims that the iQOO 16 smartphone is currently being tested in India, suggesting that the device may make its debut in the country. However, rising component costs could push its pricing to INR 1 lakh, as per the tipster. Such a price tag could also make it more challenging for the brand to attract buyers.

Notably, the iQOO 16’s model number has not been spotted on the Indian BIS certification database yet, and if the device is indeed undergoing testing in the country, it could possibly make its appearance on the database soon. An official confirmation regarding its Indian launch is still awaited.
Speaking more about the iQOO 16 smartphone, the variant launched in China features a 6.85″ AMOLED display with Samsung M16 luminescent material and 2K LEAD 2.0 technology, along with up to 2,800 nits of global peak brightness and 10,000 nits of local peak brightness. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and an 8,400mAh Blue Ocean battery are also offered on the device.
