Probably, we may not be seeing the successor to the iQOO 15 in the Indian market, if this new tip is to be believed. Furthermore, only one smartphone is expected to launch in India under the brand’s Z series.
Here is more to it.
Tipster Yogesh Brar has now revealed that Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO may not likely bring the successor to the iQOO 15 to the Indian market. As per him, due to the rise in memory costs, the pricing of the iQOO 16 may exceed INR 85K, and because of this, the company has likely scrapped the idea of launching this upcoming flagship in India.

Though, we are still several months away from the expected launch timeline, as the iQOO 16 is believed to launch in October or November this year in China, just like how it happened in the past for the iQOO 15 as well. Because of this, it would be better to take the information with a pinch of salt until more updates arrive.
Additionally, the tipster claims that only one smartphone, that too under the budget category, is expected to launch in India under the iQOO Z series, which could be the rumoured iQOO Z11 Lite. As per him, the rest of the smartphone launch plans have been scrapped for India.
Stay tuned for more updates.
