OPPO Magnetic Power Bank Air 5000mAh Certified by Malaysia’s SIRIM Authority: May Soon be Launching Outside China

OPPO’s latest Magnetic Power Bank Air 5000mAh has now been certified by the SIRIM authority of Malaysia. The brand could soon be launching this device outside its home market (Chinese market) too.

The OPPO Magnetic Power Bank Air 5000mAh which carries the model number of ‘MPBV02’ has received the Malaysian SIRIM certification with the type approval code of ‘RGEY/49B/0625/S(25-2825)’, and it has been categorized on the certification database as an ‘inductive power bank’. Its SIRIM certification validity will be till the 3rd of June 2030, and the listing on the SIRIM database points to its launch in the Malaysian market as well.

About its key specs, the device measures 96 x 69 x 9.8 mm in size, and it weighs 120 gm. As indicated by its moniker, it has a typical battery capacity of 5000 mAh (rated capacity – 2700 mAh), and supports 12W input and 10W output charging. Also to add, it is compatible with PD 5V charging protocol. Apple/Android devices charging feature, four LED light indicator unit, functional button, and metal design featuring a CNC metal high gloss frame are its other key specs. In the Chinese market, the device is priced at CNY 149 (~ approx. USD 21; INR 1781).

Just to add, OPPO last month in May 2025 debuted its Reno 14 series in the Chinese market. Reports suggesting its global launch have already started to arrive and considering the previous launch time frames, the global launch could be taking place soon.
