Vivo’s upcoming X500 Ultra smartphone was recently tipped to arrive with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, and a few of its display specifications were also shared. Now, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared another update via Weibo, pointing to camera details that are being associated with this upcoming device.

Vivo X500 Ultra – New Camera Details Tipped
As per the newly-shared details, Digital Chat Station claims to have exclusive information concerning an upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6-powered smartphone. Its latest engineering sample is reportedly undergoing long-focal-length camera testing, and a 200MP camera with a large 1/1.12″ sensor has also been tipped.
To note, the tipster has not mentioned the device’s moniker in this post, however, these details are being associated with the Vivo X500 Ultra. The exact role of the tipped 200MP camera has not been specified either.
Looking into previous updates, the Vivo X500 Ultra is said to feature a 6.85″ BOE LTPO display, offering a 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. A flat screen with equal bezels and rounded corners has also been tipped, along with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Additionally, the device is expected to arrive with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, carrying the model number ‘SM8975’.
About its launch, the tipster had earlier pointed to a March–April 2027 launch window for the Vivo X500 Ultra. These details remain unconfirmed, and more updates concerning this upcoming smartphone can be expected in the coming months.
