OPPO’s upcoming Find X10 Ultra smartphone was recently tipped to arrive with a MediaTek chipset instead of a Qualcomm processor. Now, a new post from the same tipster, Digital Chat Station, has pointed to the suspension of an unnamed flagship project, and users have linked it to the Find X10 Ultra.

OPPO Find X10 Ultra – New Update Shared
The latest update comes from tipster Digital Chat Station via Weibo, where he stated, ‘Exclusive: Another super-sized cup has changed; the project is currently suspended.’ While the device’s moniker has not been mentioned in the post, several users in the comment section have suggested that it could be the OPPO Find X10 Ultra.
OPPO Find X10 Ultra – Cancelled
Just to add, only two days earlier, the same tipster had revealed that the Find X10 Ultra was being tested with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, which the device was earlier rumoured to come with.
One possible reason we can think of is the rising cost of memory, with further price hikes looking likely as some reports suggest that the memory shortage may peak in the second quarter of 2027.
Speaking more, if the post does concern the Find X10 Ultra, it remains to be seen how this could affect OPPO’s plans for the series. More details concerning the device and its development may be shared in the coming days.
Stay tuned and don’t miss out on them.
