OPPO recently launched the A7 Pro Max in its home market, China, expanding its A-series smartphone portfolio.
Well, it now appears that the brand is preparing another model in the series, but this time for global markets. We have spotted the upcoming OPPO A7 Pro 5G, carrying model number CPH2931, on multiple certification databases, revealing its marketing name, memory configurations and a few other details.

OPPO A7 Pro 5G Appears on SIRIM
Starting with Malaysia’s SIRIM certification, the CPH2931 model number is listed with the marketing name OPPO A7 Pro 5G, confirming the identity of the upcoming smartphone.
While the certification carries the reference number RGQL/34L/0826/S(26-4310), it was certified on August 12th 2026 and remains valid until August 11th 2031.
The appearance on SIRIM also suggests that OPPO is preparing the device for the Malaysian market, though its launch date has not yet been announced.
OPPO A7 Pro 5G Memory Variants Revealed
Apart from SIRIM, model number CPH2931 has also appeared in an import/export database.
An export entry dated July 3rd 2026 shows two units of the smartphone being shipped to Pakistan in different memory configurations. These include 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
The same database also contains mentions of two additional model numbers, CPH2909 and CPH2913, whose moniker isn’t revealed yet, neither via leaks or certficiations.
In particular, the CPH2913 entries mention a 6.57″ display, 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
SGS Certification
The OPPO A7 Pro 5G has additionally received an SGS CB Test Certificate under model number CPH2931.
The certificate, carrying number FI-70269, was issued on July 15th 2026 and lists Guangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp., Ltd. as the manufacturer.
It certifies the smartphone under the IEC 62368-1:2018 safety standard. The documentation also mentions that the device can be powered through an external adaptor or its internal lithium battery, while its maximum specified operating altitude is 2,000 metres.
OPPO A7 Pro 5G Receives NBTC Approval
Moving on, the same CPH2931 / OPPO A7 Pro 5G has also received approval from Thailand’s NBTC certification authority.
The device appears under what seems to be certificate number B3859-26 and is classified as a mobile phone operating on cellular mobile networks.
The NBTC listing mentions support for GSM, WCDMA, LTE and NR, confirming 5G network support, something that is already reflected in the smartphone’s marketing name.
With the OPPO A7 Pro 5G now making its way through SIRIM, NBTC and SGS certifications, along with appearing in shipment records, its global launch appears to be getting closer. However, OPPO has yet to officially announce the smartphone or reveal its complete specifications, launch date and pricing.
More details will likely emerge as the smartphone picks up additional certifications or OPPO begins teasing it officially.
