OnePlus Pad Go 2 Finally Gets March 2026 Security Patch Update in India Along with New Features
You might have already understood from the headline that OnePlus has now announced the rollout of the OxygenOS 16.0.5.701 update for the OnePlus Pad Go 2 device in the Indian region. Notably, this latest update brings the March 2026 Android security patch, even as April is about to end.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 – OxygenOS 16.0.5.701 Update Details
This new OxygenOS update arrives with the software versions ‘OPD2504_16.0.5.701(EX01)’ and ‘OPD2505_16.0.5.701(EX01)’. As mentioned, the update integrates the March 2026 Android security patch, thereby improving the overall system security.
Talking about the features, the update introduces support for multiple stopwatch timers along with estimated stop times. Adding more to this, the content portal now supports app clones, and a new “Automatically open received files” switch has also been added, allowing users to choose how received files should be handled.

Speaking more, the rollout has just begun in the Indian market, and it may take about one to two weeks for the update to reach all eligible users. For users who have already received the update and are facing any issues, they can report them via the dedicated community post. Alternatively, users can also dial *#800# on their device to access the feedback tool and submit their concerns.
Also to add, OnePlus is expected to expand this update to other regions as well, although an exact rollout timeline has not yet been revealed. Based on previous update patterns, the rollout in other regions could follow soon.
