The next Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 smartphones from OnePlus are nearing their possible launch date and ahead of it, an X tipster has now shared the details concerning the expected storage options, color choices, and price range of the upcoming Nord 5 series devices.

As per this new update received via the tipster – @passionategeekz, the OnePlus Nord 5 series smartphone models are said to arrive with standard 8GB RAM and a maximum of 12GB RAM. However, this time the brand is probably not going to offer a 128GB storage option, and instead customers will only be left with a 256GB storage option to pick from.

Regarding the color choices, he mentions that the Nord CE 5 Lite could be offered in Black, Blue, and White colors, while the Nord 5 model is expected to be made available in Black and White colors. However, it has to be noted that so far updates have only been speaking about the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 models, and the Nord CE 5 Lite was earlier reported to be likely skipped this time.

Finally, he adds that the pricing of the upcoming Nord 5 series smartphones will probably come in between the INR 25K ~ INR 35K price bracket. The tipster further also points to the performance-level of these smartphone devices by mentioning – ‘big chips coming’.

Speaking of previous updates, followed by the Geekbench listing of Nord 5 smartphone Indian variant, the global variants of both the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 devices were spotted on the Geekbench database, revealing that the two will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 chipsets respectively. These mentioned devices have also received the TDRA, GCF, and IMDA certifications, whereas the Nord 5 model also got certified by the TUV Rheinland authority and specs like the 6650 mAh rated battery and 80W wired fast charging support were revealed. About the launch, the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5 smartphones are tipped to debut early next month – on the 8th of July 2025.
