OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max retail box spotted online; Key specs tipped and an Indian version is also said to be under works

The Chinese manufacturer OnePlus unveiled its OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 smartphones last month in the Chinese market. And now the brand seems to be heading towards the launch of a new Ace device.
The retail box of the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max has surfaced online (via @ZionsAnvin), which suggests that the device will be unveiled soon.

In September 2025, OnePlus announced that it would be launching the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered smartphone, and it was assumed that the device could be the OnePlus Ace 6, but the OnePlus Ace 6 device was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. It now appears that the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max could be the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC (Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 are both different chipsets).
Other than the chipset, tipster @ZionsAnvin has shared the expected specs of the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max. The device is said to sport a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers 1.5K screen resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. It could be backed by an 8,000 mAh battery and support 100W wired fast charging. It may run on ColorOS 16. The smartphone is tipped to feature a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera on the rear side and a 32MP selfie camera.
Other features that are expected to be included are- ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, X-axis linear motor, dual speakers, NFC, and weigh 216g. It is said to arrive in Fresh black, Electric purple, Shadow green and a special customized edition.
According to the tipster, the Indian version of OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max is also under work and may launch within this year. It is assumed that it could be launched as the OnePlus 15R, but readers are advised to wait for official confirmation for the same.
