New Samsung Galaxy Watch Batteries Spotted on the TUV Rheinland and BIS Databases

Two new smartwatch batteries from Samsung have now been spotted on the TUV Rheinland and BIS certification databases. The capacity of the TUV-listed battery has been revealed as well.

Galaxy Watch Battery (EB-BL330ABY) – TUV Rheinland Certification
The Galaxy Watch battery with the model number – ‘EB-BL330ABY’ has been listed on the TUV Rheinland certification platform, and it has received the certification with the certificate number – ‘JPTUV-170650’. It has been categorized as a ‘secondary Li-ion battery’ (~3.9Vdc), with a 426 mAh rated battery capacity (1.67 Wh) and 435 mAh typical battery capacity (1.70 Wh).
Galaxy Watch Battery (EB-BL320ABY) – BIS Certification
On the BIS certification platform, the Galaxy Watch battery with the model number – ‘EB-BL320ABY’ has been listed, and it has received the grant or inclusion on to the database as of on the 10th of March 2025. No other specs or details concerning it have been revealed via the BIS database, however, the model number is similar to that of the TUV Rheinland-listed battery’s model number.
Speaking more, these batteries could be for a Galaxy Watch with the model number – ‘SM-L330’, and this may be a new variant of the Galaxy Watch 7 smartwatch which debuted last year in the month of July 2024.

Other notable specs include LTE and WiFi connectivity, MIL-STD-810H certified IP68-rated body with armor aluminium 2 frame, ECG, SpO2, & blood pressure monitors, and multiple sensors such as accelerometer, barometer, altimeter, compass, and more.
