A new Xiaomi-branded smartphone has now made its appearance on China’s 3C certification platform. The new listing has also revealed its charging capability.

New Xiaomi Smartphone (2608BPX34C) – 3C Certification
As per its listing on the Chinese 3C certification platform, a new Xiaomi 5G smartphone which carries the model number of ‘2608BPX34C’ has received certification with the certificate number ‘2026011606883315’. The certification was issued on the 24th of July 2026, and the device is revealed to have been tested with a power adapter carrying the model number ‘MDY-15-EQ’ that supports up to 67W wired fast charging.
Speaking about the identity of this upcoming Xiaomi smartphone, its exact moniker has not yet been confirmed. However, certain reports suggest that it could be the brand’s next foldable smartphone, which is being referred to as either the Xiaomi MIX Fold 5 or Xiaomi 17 Fold. The ‘PX’ lettering present within its model number has also been associated with Xiaomi’s book-style foldable devices in earlier reports.
Looking into a recent update shared by tipster Yogesh Brar, he claimed that the Xiaomi 18 Ultra has been cancelled and the company is instead working on a MIX series product that will use certain technologies from the cancelled Ultra model. This device is also claimed to use Xiaomi’s in-house XRING O3 chipset and remain exclusive to the Chinese market for the time being. Yogesh Brar’s post, however, does not directly associate this claimed MIX series product with the ‘2608BPX34C’ model number, and therefore, the connection between the two remains speculative.
As the mysterious Xiaomi device has now received 3C approval, probably more certifications and reports could soon be revealing its official moniker as well as other key specifications. Stay tuned for it.
