A new iQOO-branded smartphone has now appeared on the EEC certification database, hinting that the brand could be preparing to introduce a new device across Eurasian markets. However, the exact moniker of this newly spotted smartphone is still under wraps.

New iQOO Smartphone Spotted on EEC Certification Database
According to the EEC certification listing spotted by us, a new iQOO-branded smartphone carrying the model number “I2606” has been listed with the notification number KZ000014609.
The listing mentions Vivo Mobile Communication Co., Ltd. as the manufacturer, while its publication date is mentioned as August 11th 2026. The notification was registered a day earlier on August 10th 2026, and its validity period extends until December 31st 2032.
However, apart from the model number, the certification does not reveal the exact marketing name or any specifications of this upcoming iQOO smartphone.
One thing to note here is that the EEC is the Eurasian Economic Commission, which covers the Eurasian Economic Union markets, including Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. Therefore, the certification hints towards the device potentially making its way to one or more of these markets rather than specifically confirming a European Union launch.
Currently, it is not known which upcoming iQOO smartphone the I2606 model number belongs to.
There were earlier reports claiming that the upcoming iQOO 16 flagship may not launch in India this year. Tipster Yogesh Brar had claimed that rising memory and component costs could push its pricing above INR 85,000, making it difficult for the brand to position the smartphone competitively in the Indian market.
However, that particular tip concerned the device’s India launch, and does not necessarily mean that the iQOO 16 will not be introduced in other markets outside China. Therefore, at this point, it would be too early to completely rule out a possible connection between the newly spotted I2606 and the upcoming iQOO 16.
For now, the identity and specifications of this mysterious iQOO smartphone remain unknown, though more details regarding the I2606 model number will likely be revealed through upcoming certifications or leaks.
