Motorola recently launched its Moto G Max smartphone in select global markets with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400 chipset. Now, a new tip has revealed that the brand could soon bring the device to India, however, its Indian variant is expected to feature a different processor and camera setup.

Moto G Max – India Launch and Specifications Tipped
As per the latest details shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, Motorola is gearing up to launch the Moto G Max smartphone in the Indian market sometime around the 15th of August 2026.
The Indian variant of the smartphone is tipped to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1-based internal storage. Speaking about its cameras, the device is said to sport a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera at the rear.

The tipster further points out that Motorola will offer two major OS upgrades and three years of security patch updates for the smartphone and will likely be priced at around INR 30,000 in India.
Looking at the Moto G Max launched in global markets, it features MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable internal storage. The device also sports a 200MP main camera, suggesting that the Indian version could differ from the global model in more than just its processor.
