Honor Likely To Be The Next Smartphone Brand To Launch A Triple-Fold Device: Claims Tipster

After the foldable smartphones seems like it is now the tri-fold devices that will soon dominate the mobile industry. The smartphone brand Huawei recently introduced the world’s first tri-fold device- Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design in its home country China and it was expected that other companies may also soon arrive with their tri-fold devices.

Well for now no official statement is there but tipster Digital Chat Station has shared the name of the company that has a higher chance of following the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design tri-fold launch.

According to the tipster, Honor is predicted to be the first company that is likely to follow up with the Huawei tri-fold. This is because the sales of the Honor folding screen category are second only to Huawei. As of now, there is no detail revealed about the Honor tri-fold device but we may get to hear some details soon.

For now let’s take a look at Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design specifications

The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design features a 10.2-inch wide(3,184×2,232 pixels) flexible LTPO OLED screen that turns into a 7.9-inch (2,048×2,232 pixels) screen when folded once, and a 6.4-inch screen (1,008×2,232 pixels) when folded a second time. 3,182×2,232pixels resolution flexible LTPO OLED screen that when folded once becomes 7.9 inch 2,048×2,232 pixels screen, when folded a second time becomes 6.4 inch 1,008×2,232 pixels resolution. The company has not revealed the processor of the smartphone though it packs 16GB RAM with up to 1TB storage.

The smartphone has a 50MP main camera with OIS support and variable aperture, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP periscope telephoto camera with 5.5x optical zoom and OIS support. For selfies, it has got 8MP that is housed in a centrally placed punch hole cutout. It is backed by a 5,600mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port. It weighs 298g and measures 156.7x73x12.8mm when unfolded,156.7x143x7.45mm when folded once, and 156.7x219x3.6mm when folded twice.
