Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro Certified by the EMVCo Authority Ahead of Next Week’s Global Launch

The Chinese consumer electronics maker – Honor will be unveiling its latest Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro smartphone models next week in the global market and ahead of it, their global models have been certified by the EMVCo certification authority. A few notable key specs of the two upcoming devices have also been mentioned on the certification database.

Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro – EMVCo Certification

The global models of the Honor 400 (DNY-NX9) and Honor 400 Pro (DNP-NX9) smartphones have received the EMVCo certification with the respective approval numbers of ‘MTA_LOA_HODC_05434’ and ‘MTA_LOA_HODC_05430’. These two devices have now been approved as ‘EMV Contactless Level 1 Mobile Products’, and their certification/approval validity will be till the 1st of April 2028 (for Honor 400) and 31st of March 2028 (for Honor 400 Pro).

Via the certification listings, the two are also pointed out to run on the Android 15 operating system and support NFC connectivity.

Coming to the previous updates, both these smartphone models were earlier spotted on the TDRAIMDA, and GCF certification platforms as well. Additionally, the Honor 400 Pro device was also spotted on the TUV SUD database too. The Geekbench listings of the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro devices were revealed as well, confirming Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (2.80 GHz) and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (3.05 GHz, under-clocked version) processors respectively for the two.

Moreover, their Chinese variants received the 3C certification, revealing 80W and 90W wired fast charging features for the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro devices respectively. In related news, the design renders and specifications of the global models as well as the pricing, memory, color choices, and retail box for the Honor 400 device in Europe were also leaked over the recent past weeks.

Speaking of the official global launch, it is scheduled to take place next week on the 22nd of May 2025. Also, the Malaysian launch of the Honor 400 series has been teased as well.
