Google Pixel 9a benchmark results revealed online ahead of its anticipated launch

The global launch of the Pixel 9a smartphone is tipped to take place on the 19th of March 2025, while the India launch could happen a day later on the 20th of March 2025. While some rumors also suggest that the official launch could take place as early as next week. Though till now Google has not made any official announcement related to the launch date.
Ahead of the rumored launch of Pixel 9a, tipster @KaroulSahil shared the benchmark results of the upcoming smartphone on the X platform.
Pixel 9a: Benchmark results revealed
As per the screenshots shared by the tipster, Pixel 9a has received a 1,049,844 AnTuTu score with a CPU score of 260567, GPU score of 434441, MEM score of 168783, and UX score of 186053.
Coming to the Geekbench results, the device received a 1530 single-core score and 3344 multi-core score with Android 15 pre-installed. The results are slightly lower than that of the Pixel 9 smartphone (1925 single-core score and 5674 multi-core score). The reason could be that the Pixel 9a tested was running pre-launch software that had not been properly optimized yet.
The throttling test results are also shared which reveal that Pixel 9a CPU throttled to 61% of its max performance.
Pixel 9a: Expected specs
As per the leaked full specs and pricing details, the Google Pixel 9a is expected to feature specs like the Tensor G4 chip, Titan M2 security chip, Android 15 OS, 8GB LPDDR5X RAM, 128/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, 6.3″ (6.285″) OLED display screen, 48MP + 13MP dual rear cameras, 13MP selfie camera, 5100 mAh battery, and 23W wired & 7.5W wireless charging capabilities. It is believed to be priced at USD 499 and USD 599 respectively for the 128GB and 256GB storage models.
The device has already been spotted on FCC and EMVCo websites while recently its packaging box live images also leaked online.
