Google Pixel 9a Smartphone Certified by the FCC Authority Ahead of its Expected Launch Time Frame

Google’s upcoming Pixel 9a smartphone has now been certified by the FCC certification authority, confirming its launch in the US market and suggesting its nearing launch. A few key specs of the device have also been revealed via the database.

Google Pixel 9a – FCC Certification
The Google Pixel 9a smartphone models carrying the model numbers of ‘GTF7P’ and ‘G3Y12’ have received the FCC certification with the FCC ID – ‘A4RGTF7P’. Connectivity specs like 5G/4G/3G/2G network, WiFi 6E with triple band support, Bluetooth (BR/EDR/LE/LE CS), and NFC (ASK) have been revealed. Moreover, the device is also pointed out to support wireless charging as well (~ WPC Rx, could be Qi).
Speaking more, a few days back, this upcoming device was also spotted on the EMVCo certification platform. The entire spec sheet and price of the device was also revealed previously, as well as its design via live images, renders, and the prototype model.
Its revealed/expected specs include the Tensor G4 chip, Titan M2 security chip, Android 15 OS, 8GB LPDDR5X RAM, 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage, 6.285″ Actual display screen (with 2700 nits peak brightness, 1800 nits DR brightness, & Gorilla Glass 3 protection), 48MP (GN8 quad dual pixel primary camera) + 13MP (Sony IMX712 ultra-wide angle camera) dual rear camera system, 13MP front camera, 5100 mAh battery backup, and 23W wired & 7.5W wireless fast charging features.
About its launch time frame, it is said to launch next month in March 2025. Its availability is also expected by the end of next month. Regarding its pricing, the 128GB storage model could be priced at USD 499, whereas the 256GB variant may be priced at USD 599.
