Two upcoming wireless devices from Google have now made their appearance on Singapore’s IMDA database. Along with this, both model numbers have also been spotted on the FCC certification database, revealing a few more details.

Google GNQ1L and G8BL6 – IMDA and FCC Listings
As per the IMDA listing, the Google device with the model number of ‘GNQ1L’ has been listed as an Ultra-Wideband device, and it is described to support UWB and Bluetooth connectivity. Meanwhile, the other device bearing the model number of ‘G8BL6’ has been categorised under PMREQ – Private Mobile Radio, with Bluetooth mentioned as its equipment type.
Google Wireless Band on IMDA
Both products are described as wireless devices, and Wideminds Pte. Ltd. is mentioned as their supplier, but their respective marketing names have not been revealed on the IMDA database.
According to a report by 9to5Google, the G8BL6 model number has also appeared on the FCC certification database, where it is officially described as a ‘Wireless Device’, with Goertek mentioned as its manufacturer. The listing reveals support for Bluetooth LE and GNSS/GPS connectivity, along with a metal-frame Bluetooth antenna, while Wi-Fi support has not been mentioned.
The e-label access path of Settings → System → Regulatory Information further points to the presence of a display, and the use of Android Debug Bridge during testing also suggests that the device could run on Wear OS. It is believed to be a Google fitness tracker and could be related to the pill-shaped device shown in the Pixel 11 advertisements. The product may also arrive as a successor to the Fitbit Charge lineup, although its exact identity has not yet been confirmed.
Furthermore, the other model number, ‘GNQ1L’, has also made its appearance on the FCC certification database, carrying the FCC ID of ‘2AYYS-GNQ1L’. Its listing reveals support for Bluetooth LE, Ultra-Wideband, and NFC connectivity, with the Bluetooth and NFC frequencies mentioned as 2400MHz–2483.5MHz and 13.56MHz respectively.

The UWB frequencies are listed as 6489.6MHz and 7987.2MHz, and the device supports BPM-BPSK/HPSK transmission modes with a maximum UWB power output of less than 1mW. An LDS Bluetooth antenna has also been revealed via the certification.
At the moment, the exact monikers of the two wireless devices remain unknown, but more details about them may be revealed in the coming days.
